These large sterling silver Island Panorama drop earrings are each approximately 7mm by 29mm and hang from silver posts. The earrings are hand-enamelled in 'Shallows' in our Orkney workshop.

When viewed in wide, sweeping panoramas, Orkney's typically low-lying landscape can often appear as only a narrow strip separating sea and sky. Sheila has reinterpreted these smooth and graceful shapes into a simple, elegant collection in sterling silver and 'Shallows' enamel. This enamel evokes the colour of the sea as it washes over the shallow sands at Glimps Holm, one of many Orkney beaches that are an inspiration to Sheila.
